Level Up All (“we,” “our,” “us”) provides accessible digital games designed for people of all abilities. We take your privacy seriously and are committed to protecting the information of teachers, students, parents, and all users — including children.

1. Who This Policy Applies To

This Privacy Policy applies to all users of Level Up All, including:

  • Teachers and school administrators
  • Students
  • Parents and guardians
  • Assisted living facility staff and residents
  • Individual users

Children, including children under 13, may use Level Up All under the supervision of a parent or school. In school settings, we rely on the school for any required parental consent under COPPA.

2.1 Information You Provide

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

  • Password
  • Optional name

Users may also sign in through single sign-on providers. In these cases, we receive the basic information needed to create an account, such as an email address and, where available, a public profile image.

Player Profiles

Users can create in-app “players” used to save game preferences and progress. These profiles include:

  • A display name (e.g., a nickname)
  • An avatar choice

These labels do not need to be real names and should not contain personal information for young children.

Communication Information

If you contact us or subscribe to emails, we collect your email address and any information you submit.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

Cookies & Authentication

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Manage secure sign-in
  • Maintain user sessions
  • Support site functionality

We do not use cookies for advertising.

Usage Analytics

  • Level Up All will not store full payment card numbers or bank details.
  • Payment features will be used by adults or organizations, not children.

We encourage teachers and parents to use nicknames for children.

We do not sell or rent your information.

We may share information only with third parties who help us operate Level Up All, such as:

  • Authentication providers
  • Hosting infrastructure providers
  • Cloud database providers
  • Email and communication service providers
  • Payment processors (for future payments)

These providers may process data on our behalf strictly to operate the service. We do not allow these providers to use personal data for advertising or unrelated purposes.

We use secure, industry-standard cloud infrastructure and databases that provide:

  • Encryption at rest
  • Controlled access and auditing
  • Established compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2 or similar)

We follow reasonable and appropriate security practices, though no system is completely secure.

7. Data Retention

  • The account is deleted according to our retention policies

Schools may request deletion of student or teacher accounts they manage.

Some analytics and aggregated data may be retained in a non-identifiable form.

Depending on your location and role, you may have the right to:

  • Request a copy (export) of your data
  • Unsubscribe from non-essential emails

9. Children’s Privacy

Level Up All may be used by children, including children under 13.

  • We collect only minimal information needed to create an account (email + password).
  • Real names for children are not required and discouraged.
  • We do not use data for advertising or profiling.
  • We do not knowingly collect children’s information without appropriate parental or school consent.
  • In school settings, consent may be provided by the school in accordance with COPPA.

If you believe a child has provided personal information without proper consent, contact us immediately.

10. FERPA & COPPA

When Level Up All is used in educational settings:

  • We support schools in meeting FERPA obligations by safeguarding student information and limiting sharing.
  • Under COPPA, schools may consent on behalf of parents when using Level Up All for educational purposes.
  • We do not collect more information from children than is reasonably necessary to use the service.

We do not disclose student data except as required to operate the service.

11. International Users

Level Up All is operated in the United States. By using the service from outside the U.S., you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. If changes are significant, we will provide notice by email or within the service.
